I am also using the R4i-SDHC RTS 2020 version with YSMenu and I was able to get the NDS forwarders to work. Make sure you installed the "for Slot-1 microSD (R4i-SDHC RTS)" folder from the DS Game Forwarder pack to the flashcart micro SD card, and select "DSTT/R4i Gold/R4i-SDHC/R4 SDH..."
