Hardware GBA speaker noise fixed!
Well I tried it and it had no effect. The reddit thread that linked me to this thread stated a larger capacitor than 220uf worked out for the original poster in the end. Maybe I could use two of the 220uf ones in parallel, bought a 5 pack online. I'm about to just give up on using head phones...- Guy_Manley

Hardware GBA speaker noise fixed!
Sorry to revive an old thread but I've had this same issue with my GBA001 after adding an IPS v2 screen from FunnyPlaying and a lith-poly battery mod. As a result I'd never use head phones and I felt like I was annoying those around me while playing. I got that jist that it might be bad...- Guy_Manley
