The problem was that you used AliExpress; get a refurbished one from Amazon. I bought mine from Amazon for $60. -

It is better to use the separate emulators because the person developing the separate emulators has had the chance to get that system running on the PSP. With multi emulators that team/person has to worry about multiple systems and esp. with Retroarch you only get a limited number of systems...- Mickstar

Your best bet is to try and sell those PSPs on Ebay and buy a refurbished one on Amazon -

Unbrick with magic ms and pandora battery by installing OFW, then udate to 6.61 and install permanent cfw; look at the video by MrMario2011 on Youtube. That should fix your psp! -
Hardware PSP 2000 batteries genuine or not?
They have to be made in japan for one and if you open it and it has no EP04 on the motherboard it is immediately fake.
