Its a perfectly valid question. Yes, I did try to power it on without SD card, unfortunately, it didn't work., also I tried to delete bootcode.dsi (Of course I made a copy) I remember I did a NAND backup, but it was a long time ago. Homebrew Dsi bricked(?) after updating unlaunch from 0.8 to 2.0
I changed bootcode.dsi with UNLAUNCH.NDS, the instalation went without problems, i reboot, and guess what? its just a black screen with the power LED on... is this fixable?- Santelite

Or, I also heard that if you use flash memory, it can act as more "RAM" at least windows tell me when I stick a flash drive into it. -
