Hacking Switch error after any update, Please help

OK Update - I had previously tried large gaps in updates so I decided to just go from 8.1.0 to 8.1.1 and it worked. So I then went up each single patch and made it up to 9.2.0. Then I went to install 10.0.0 and the same error popped up. I restored and did it again to make sure and again...

Hacking Switch error after any update, Please help

Well I tried adding the line but no luck. I find it odd that even when I boot 8.1.0 stock and update through official updater, it still produces the error through the Nintendo error message. Thanks for the help so far. If you have any other ideas let me know.

Hacking Switch error after any update, Please help

I haven't heard of this but I can give it a go. Do you know the line that goes in the .ini? I can search a bit for it. I posted an image of the error on screen in the 5th post in this thread. I have tried two SDs - one 64GB and one 128GB, both Samsung. sysNAND produces the same error. It...

Hacking Switch error after any update, Please help

I've formatted exfat on PC, injected Hekate, formatted through the 'Partition SD card' tool. I use 128GB card to create an emuRAW partition full (29GB) and the rest FAT32 (90ishGB). Then I create emuMMC (tried SD File and SD Partition) and boot with the following .ini config: [Atmosphere SYS]...

Hacking Switch error after any update, Please help

I was on 8.1.0 and decided to update. I used Hekate to boot CFW and updated through AIO updater to 12.0.0. After the update I try to boot atmosphere and after the logo it shows an Atmosphere error. I tried a few different things to try to fix it but alas, it would never boot so restored using my...

Quick update to this, sorry for bump, but I don't want to let this die in case someone else can find this useful - I swapped the BQ24193 chip out fairly easily. I purchased a solder/heat gun combo and followed TronicsFix and MyMateVince on youtube For anyone interested in DIY repair, both of...

Hardware Help diagnosing for DIY repair

Still trying - USB C cable was a no-name brand. The Nintendo charger was not the culprit. Since taking it out of autoRCM mode it now registers 5v with the nintendo charger (no charge though). At this point I think I'm going to try swapping the chips - I've watched TronicsFix do a few. Are there...

LIFE! I think its the official charger. I plugged in the usb to PC and got the 5.00v, however I knew my main battery was at 2.92v so it probably wasnt enough to get it running. I then plugged in the second battery and got a ping from the PC when i pressed the power button. The switch came to...

This is odd - I tested the fuse with the usual wall charger plugged both from a grounds on the cpu case as well as from both sides of the fuse (grounds on one side, live on other) and got 0.00v Then plugged it into computer and got 5.00v running through the fuse. Oops, sorry for the repeat post

Ah rookie mistake - the battery was plugged in which is why that didn't happen the first time when I tested with battery unplugged. I retested all caps without battery and they're all good. I retested the fuse and it gives continuity when touched from both sides. When the charger and battery is...
