you have to format your card with the "Tools/Format Disk" within the app !! its a different kind of format... otherwise Sky3dsWriter can't act on the card !!- Cliemacfr

usually you have to put the file in : /Users/"your user name"/Library/Application Support/sky3ds make sure you put in a template.txt file, nothing else, not a rar file for instance. It will change it as a Json file.- Cliemacfr

i had a save backup working, yes with yoshi's island for example but I was unable to do it with zelda MM. I'm not trying now because I'm to deep into the game to lose it. But I will try Lukas_2511 trick next time. I didn't try the switch thing.- Cliemacfr

a save from zelda majora but it didn't work on yoshi island either... And it appears that the save process has deleted the save in the first place. I have to further investigate that...
