Okay I did that before and it did boot up using another SD but then when I powered it off and turned it back on it wouldn't, I'll attempt it right now and say the results. auto Yep, it didn't work, now I can again only turn it on using the sd card with cfw on it. auto Any solutions? auto...- autisticmangos

Yeah, that's what's happening. So I checked right now and I have boot firm in the sd root but not in the Luma folder, is that why me copying it and pasting into CTRNAND didn't work?- autisticmangos

So I currently own a 2ds and a 3ds. Installed cfw such as Luma, b9s, and godmode9 on the 3ds, but then decided that I would use the 2ds more so I system transferred data from the 3ds to the 2ds. Similar thing happened, I was installing luma3ds and right after the japanese flipnote part my 3ds turned off, and I was expecting it to turn back on but it ended up being bricked like yours.
