But if I clear NAND I would be coming back into a version of NAND where the save was never injected, correct?
And then, I would simply be coming back to square one.
Thanks for replying.
Yeah, I know it's risky, but I want to know if there's someone who's done something as specific as that and got banned.
I thought running emulators or pirating games were things that caused ban.
I didn't know the sole fact of running CFW once practically bans a console...
I'm trying to get as much feedback on this as possible:
-Have Wii U BOTW.
-Dumped save
-Converted to Switch format (conversion only, no editing)
-Vanilla Switch with no use of CFW whatsoever
-Planning on using Atmosphere to run Checkpoint and inject the save
-Intention of going back to OFW...
I already converted from Wii U to Switch.
I'm planning on injecting the save via Checkpoint. I want to stop using CFW forever after that.
If I go back to OFW and connect online, do you think I will get banned?
I have a question.
I'm planning to inject a dumped BOTW save into my vanilla Switch via Checkpoint.
After that I'm planning to stop using CFW.
Can I simply go back to OFW and connect online as if nothing had happened? Or should I do something special to avoid ban hammer?
Thanks for the answer.
Well I know everything homebrew-related is risky in terms of banning :(
Forgive my ignorance, but how can I access Checkpoint in vanilla switch?
This is the whole plan:
-I dumped my BOTW Save from Wii U (version 1.5)
-Using the tool in PC, I converted it to Switch...
Is there a safe way to transfer a save file from hacked Switch to vanilla Switch?
They don't have the same Nintendo account, I don't know if that could be an issue or if there's a workaround.
I want to try Save transfer from Wii U to Switch.
I've dumped and converted my save into Switch version. From what I understand, both must be on the same version, however, Wii U is now stuck in 1.5 and Switch in 1.6
Am I screwed here?
although i ended up accidentally changing my nand with no way of going back bc i didn't know you needed a gamecube controller to restore it (i have a wii minus/1.1, which doesn't have gamecube controller support)
and if i find the sd card i have my NAND backed up on, i can not only restore the NAND if i solder the right part in, but i can also put my NAND on dolphin, then i can play dolphin online, like PMEX Remix or MKWii Riibalanced
