    Thanks for the reply. However, as I stated before, holding Start while booting doesn't bring up the chainloader and I can't get past step one.

    Since I bought and hacked new 2DS XL about a year back, I had no real use for my hacked old 3DS and gave it to a friend. Apparently, he formatted the 3DS and then wiped the SD card. It is currently on 11.9 and is on Luma3DS 7.1. It doesn't seem to be able to run payloads when I boot up while...
