    One more question please, I connected and am now downloading firmware files. They are downloading as a .zip. Can they be unzipped and then used to update all without switching off the switch and plugging the sd in to the laptop? I searched a good 30 pages looking for the answer but no luck :)

    I have never connected my switch to the wifi when in CFW. What is the recommended method these days? any link to setup guides would be appreciated :) Using Atmos (as of yesterday...)

    What does backported mean? I am massively out of the loop here as havent downloaded or updated switch for like a year (using sxos, previously updated via choidj..) In theory, can i just keep loading new games through tinfoil without needing to be on the latest firmware?

    Same thing, SX Inst crashes the system so have to hard reset. for tinfoil 2.2 I get the error "tinfoil.io login failed!" but then it does let me use the app. I read in another thread it may be link to our time (clock) being inaccurate due to not syncing to correct/live time when in aeroplane mode.

    Does this programme let me install/play new games without latest firmware like Goldleaf does? if not, what would be the best way to do this for a file over 4gb as I havent been able to do use Goldleaf with a external USB drive.

    I installed v 3.0 and then each individual dlc file seperately. When loading the game it says i have unlocked tails outfit/persona outfit etc. but no new fighters appear in the roster. Does anybody have an idea what to do? edit - guess i need fighter pass. doh!

    RA doesn't delete the save file, it appears in the folder on sd. Strangely though, I opened Mario 64 with the older core and the save file had vanished from this version too..? I loaded the savestate which worked, grabbed a gold star so i had the option to save.. saved again but still nothing...

The traditional save I had on Mario 64 was gone when using the new core (it was as if i had started a brand new game), save states do still load so you can re-save following...
