    So I guess I need to use a different hard drive then that is not in an enclosure? This HUB has been the only way to get the wii to initialize the hard drive consistently and also what exactly do you want me to change of my cIOS's to? I have to get to school, but will pick this back up around...

    I don't exactly know if it is a HUB, but I will add a picture. Basically it plugs into the wall and has a slot to directly plug in a hard drive. (Which you can see.) It then has a usb that runs out of it and I have plugged into the back top port of the wii.

    Late last night I was able to get the hard drive initializing constantly through a hub where I plugged my hard drive in and it got power from a external power source.     I have just swapped both USBs from the top slot, neither worked and I also can confirm from the settings that the USB port is set to 0.

    If you are saying to run the 3.0 in the top port and the 2.0 in the bottom then that is what I have mainly been trying and it has not loaded the hard drive.

    Where should I try plugging the 3.0 end at? There is a 2.0 and a 3.0. I have been plugging the 3.0 into the wii and the 2.0 into the wii or external source of power.

    So I partitioned the different hard drive which is a 500gb wd with 400gb fat32 32kb clusters with a ntsf 40 gb partition and it still says "Waiting on HDD".     Okay, The enclosure is an after market enclosure and the hard drive is a 2.5 inch seagate. I can clearly feel the hard drive running but it isnt "initializing" within USB Loader GX.     I have now replaced with r52 and have set the game ios to 249, but can't get the drive to work again. I plugged into the right slots, one end in the wall, even the laptop again and it wont initialize.
