Hacking QUICK/NEWBIE QUESTIONS here!
500GB Buffalo HDD. The entire setup worked in a previous configuration I did a couple years back. I'm going to try a different game and see if that changes anything. Thanks for the tip, and for replying so fast. I just tried that again, but at this point I've used v8, v10 beta 52 and v10 beta53 with the same result (black screen -> return to HBC). I'm going to try a clean wipe and reinstall from scratch, then check back with new info if it fails in a new...- falconpawnch

I'm getting the black screen -> return to HBC error when using USB Loader GX. Ultimate goal is to get Brawl set up with PM and Brawl Minus, but I can't even get vanilla brawl running.
