Thank you for the information. I just don't enjoy playing the GBA/DS games on the 3DS because they don't fit the display properly and I think the music reproduction of the VC-injected GBA games is pretty bad. Might get a refurbished GBA SP and DS Lite on the cheap instead.- JStrange

I read the 3ds hacking guide and just wanted to confirm one thing. Do you need a flashcart if you don't have access to a second console or don't want to hardmod the device? My console will be the new 2ds xl so I presume it comes with the latest firmware.- JStrange
