Okay!
I just tried using the regular Lockpick, and it seemed to work fine, but the keys generated don't seem to have worked. I tried using them for Switch Army Knife and got an error message asking if the keys were right.
Haven't tinkered with my Switch for a while, but tried using this tool to get my keys, but all I get when I inject it is a black screen.
I'm on 6.0.0 and AMS 0.9.2
I've gotten Atmosphere installed, and now I'm trying to use ChoiDujourNX to update to 6.0 but I can't seem to launch the app, it just starts and shuts down. I did some googling and it seems I need to "add debugmode=1 to my launch profile", but I have no idea how to do that. Any tips?
I just followed the ReiNX install guide and made it all the way to the end, but the Switch just freezes on the ReiNX boot logo.
I'm on firmware 1.0.0 does that have anything to do with it?
Hmm if games are so small, then 32 gb should probably be enough? Sorry, I'm very much out of the loop, but do backups need to run from the SD card or is it possible to install them on the Switch and play the games without having the game on the SD card? Does the SD card need to be plugged in at...
Huh? I'm wondering how much data the SD card needs to be able to hold in order to make playing backups and using homebrew as painless as possible. As in, how many gigs. I plan on buying it at a store, not ordering one online, so being scammed isn't really a concern.
So if the other CFW:s are based on incomplete parts of Atmosphere, what benefits will there be from "completing" those parts? Any notable differences at all? Like more user friendly, more features, or anything?
So bottom line is, the method of installing and maintaining a CFW won't change with Atmosphere's release?
What is it that differentiates Atmosphere from currently available CFW:s? I've been waiting for something a bit less complicated and user friendly to be released, something akin to how CFW...
I guess my question is, with ReiNX being labled a WIP and Atmosphere still under production, are those projects, when finished, going to more or less resemble what we have now in terms of back-up loading and homebrew or will they be easier to use?
I've had a 1.0.0 Switch sitting in my shelf for a few months now waiting for a back-up loader and CFW. From what I understand homebrew and back-up loading is already possible, even without SX, but the process seems so complicated. The only consoles I've had any real experience hacking were PS3...
I' m aware that lower firmwares have the advantage of potentially being able to coldboot in the future, but when atmosphere releases, do you believe it will become possible for lower firmware consoles to play games requiring the newest firmware? I'm sitting on a 1.0.0 Switch, but it doesn't make...
So would I need an initial hardmod to install Fake News, and then no hardmods after that?
Is there any reason to stay on 1.0.0 if 3.0.0 has an easier way of installing CFW? Would I lose anything going from 1.0.0 to 3.0.0?
I have some questions regarding the easiest way to install CFW on my Switch.
I'm sitting on a 1.0.0 FW Switch right now, and as far as I'm aware (correct me if I'm wrong), my options are to either buy the japanese Puyo-Puyo Tetris, or use a hardmod, like a jig or something.
So my question is...
I haven't played my Switch n a month or so, just been playing Xbox, and just picked to play lil and Damn that A and B, X and Y being reversed always gets me.
I agree Tears is great. I even played thru it completely twice. I've been hooked on playing thru Fallout 4 again though, after they released the next gen version for Series S/X. Is pretty cool update.
because I already got burned out with breath of the wild, which for the most part is essentially the same game, and then again with master mode, which doesn't work as a new game plus (that always felt bizarre to me)
