This topic should be updated for SNES games. We will still wait for NES games, too. The post above shows my accomplishment of converting an SNES save file to the Wii U Virtual Console format.
As of today, we got the same 20100 error in every single WiiVC inject, and I mean EVERY. SINGLE. WIIVC INJECT. (This happens in not only Mario Kart Wii, but in every single game that supports it, including Super Smash Bros. Brawl.)
I've updated my comment to include two more of my saves. They are both Mario games on the DS and 100% completed, then converted into a format that the Wii U Virtual Console versions of these games can recognize.
Just tested it with A Link to the Past on the Wii U VC, and it worked flawlessly!
EDIT: I also tested the tool with more games on the Wii U VC, and while some of them did work, others didn't.
