Gaming What is your experience with the Wii2HDMI adapter?

I didn't pay any import taxes. So far my experience with the ossc has been fine, but i can't get the best quality out of it due to the lack of an optimised configuration for the wii available on the internet. The configuration i've been using is for the GameCube and while it works, it feels like...

    Homebrew Snes9xGX-Mushroom

I second the idea of adding Dualshock 4 support. You could use the HID code implemented in Nintendont, it works flawlessly there.

Gaming What is your experience with the Wii2HDMI adapter?

I'm now using cheap component cables and the OSSC, and the video quality i get from the wii2hdmi is pretty much on par to the 480p passthru option, the OSSC actually looks noisier because of the cheap cables. I wish there was an easier way to track down the good wii2hdmi units because they're a...

Gaming What is your experience with the Wii2HDMI adapter?

I bought it from Wish .com and it's unbranded. I went back to check and it's out of stock. The plastic casing had a different shape from the usual, if that helps.

Gaming What is your experience with the Wii2HDMI adapter?

Yep, as mentioned before, the bad one has very high levels of red and both appear to be a bit brighter than they should be(levels of white), but only in white screens like USB Loader and and the wii menu. The games look fine in the good unit. The pictures look exactly like what i see in person.

Gaming What is your experience with the Wii2HDMI adapter?

Could you provide pics for a comparison? Here's the difference in quality i mentioned. Also i should mention i have no audio problems with any of these two.

Hardware What's your TV/AV setup for your homebrewed Wii?

I tried changing some games to PAL and play them with the wii2hdmi while the ossc doesn't arrives, and some games work, others only show a black screen. I'm gonna stick to component cables once it arrives though.

Gaming What is your experience with the Wii2HDMI adapter?

Can you disassemble your Sewell unit and take a picture of the board? In my defective unit, the vertical lines look more bold when playing in progressive mode than it does in interlaced. The speed of which the lines shift seemed to be random, but it might as well be caused by the temperature...

Hardware TV won't detect Wii display?

If it's not the cable then it could be the video out that's dirty or something. Since 480p output through composite cables aren't a thing, it should automatically change to the default 480i settings so i don't think this is the problem. it could also be from another region and your tv doesn't...

Hardware Are any of those cheap HDMI adapters any good?

I believe none of those Wii2HDMI devices do upscaling, or else they certainly wouldn't cost $10. I bought two of them from separate sellers, the first one had interference issues and had fast scrolling /////// lines, then i bought a second one and it works good enough. It's a gamble. I can't...

Hardware What's your TV/AV setup for your homebrewed Wii?

So, i was going to open a new thread but i saw this one and figured i could ask here since it's a similar question. I currently use a Wii2HDMI since my TV lacks Component inputs and it works good enough, but i'm going to buy an OSSC soon and i was wondering if i was able to use an SCART cable...

Hardware HELP - Wii (sort of) bricked

I don't think the cable could brick your wii If it shows Homebrew Channel on the screen then the cable is working. Maybe you have a System Menu brick? How did you manage to enter Homebrew Channel if priiloader doesn't work?

Gaming What is your experience with the Wii2HDMI adapter?

I have two of them, the first one has weird ////// interference lines while the second one is perfect. My TV instroduces lag when playing with the composite cable and it doesn't have component input for whatever reason so i'm very glad i got a Wii2HDMI that works very well. The second one has a...

Hardware Question about internal physical space and wii2hdmi.

Yeah, my main concern is space inside the case, and i'm not sure if heat would be a problem. Also thanks for recommending that cable, i din't know it existed! Though i'd still be willing to add the wii2hdmi as an internal module, idk the idea just seem very interesting to me for whatever reason...

Hardware Question about internal physical space and wii2hdmi.

Hi, i recently bought one of those Wii2hdmi and it works nice enough but i was wondering if i could perhaps mod the Wii's board as little as possible and make it an internal hdmi module for the sake of convenience. I heard the wii has very little space left for anything inside it but i couldn't...
