Tutorial Deleting failed/incomplete game (DLC, update, etc) installs from the NAND/USB device

Aha, interesting, I haven’t ever tried that before. I feel like I’ve seen that method mentioned on this forum somewhere, but I can’t quite recall in which thread. If this ever happens to me again, I’ll have to give that a try instead. Thanks for the information.

Tutorial Deleting failed/incomplete game (DLC, update, etc) installs from the NAND/USB device

Yes, I agree and I'll add it to the beginning of the tutorial. Personally, I never tried doing it as that message appeared in the data management menu before anything ever failed, and when I manually deleted the failed game the message was still present, so I guess it varies. I've also heard...

Tutorial Deleting failed/incomplete game (DLC, update, etc) installs from the NAND/USB device

PART OF THIS TUTORIAL REQUIRES NAND ACCESS, DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING WHICH YOU ARE NOT INSTRUCTED TO. I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR BRICKED CONSOLE. So please, follow directions carefully. Before starting, I'd like to greatly thank the GBA Temp user godreborn (along with all other users who...

Hacking Wii U USB loading - install WiiU games to USB or internal memory

Edit: Didn’t see JustinCredible had made a similar reply since I commented before refreshing the page, which had been open since yesterday. Sorry An external HDD/SSD is optimal, a flash drive may work temporarily but it will wear down pretty fast as they’re not meant to be constantly read or...

Hacking CGTP on WiiU, "boot.elf" not found

No problem, and yeah after I checked the CTGP website myself I saw that there’s now the option to simply overwrite the Mii channel with the CTGP setup application (or channel itself?) instead. I can see how this is feasible since all it seems the program (the one that’s overwritten the Mii...

Hacking CGTP on WiiU, "boot.elf" not found

Edit again...: Just saw it’s possible to overwrite the Mii channel with CTGP, I wouldn’t recommend doing this, instead follow the normal WUPHax guide found here: https://gbatemp.net/threads/wuphax-v1-1-hacking-vwii-from-wiiu-mode.446786/ If you give that I shot, then install CTGP via the HBC...

Tutorial Community noob guide to Wii U hacking

Issues will probably arise eventually, some games may not start at all etc. I'm not sure if Loadiine works differently, but I can't say I've ever heard anything positive about playing installed Wii U games off of a USB flash drive or SD card adapted to use USB.

Tutorial Community noob guide to Wii U hacking

Then you should be good to go, infact this is even saving you a few steps. Buy the DS game, make sure it’s on the NAND, download the CBHC installer and place it on your SD card, access the HBL via the web browser exploit and finally, overwrite said DS game and your pretty much done. No need to...

Tutorial Community noob guide to Wii U hacking

Depends what was done/installed to it exactly, could you list any installed homebrew related applications you see on the main menu/data management screen? Most modifications to the Wii U are undone upon reboot anyways, so unless it's already got CBHC or something of the sort already installed...

Hacking Wii U USB loading - install WiiU games to USB or internal memory

Jeannotte is correct, those types of devices simply weren’t made to be used with the console. While providing more power to the adapter may fix it, it really is best to just get a cheap external HHD on eBay. Also, I’m not sure if this would apply to SD cards as well, but I’ve heard stories of...

    Hardware 2partitions on wiiu hdd??

My goodness, that guy must of devoted quite a bit of time to put that all together, cause that’s a whole lot of games. I’m sure it took a decent amount of time to install them too lol. Like you were saying in that other thread though, if someone wants to be able to play nearly every previous...

    Hardware 2partitions on wiiu hdd??

Yep, same. Although I do use the menu provided by Haxchi occasionally at bootup to jump straight to the vWii Homebrew channel, what its doing still manages to slip past my mind occasionally. I remember having to go to the Internet browser, perform the browser exploit then load Mocha through the...

Homebrew Can you have Wii games running of both a usb stick and an sd card in USB Loader GX

Aha, didn't think of that. You're right, a single FAT32 partition is really all he needs, especially since he's just got two Wii games and as you said you can just split any that are over 4GBs. Thank you for correcting me and apologies for the incorrect information.

Homebrew Can you have Wii games running of both a usb stick and an sd card in USB Loader GX

Yes, if possible an external would be ideal. All you'll need to do is create two partitions each formatted with a different file system, a NTFS/WBFS one for Wii games and a FAT32 one for GameCube games. Unfortunately you can't mix them together, but it's not difficult to get setup properly.

    Hardware 2partitions on wiiu hdd??

^^^ Wow... I feel pretty oblivious right now lol... Can't believe I forgot to mention this method. What NoSoul said above is the way the OP should go unless there's some specific reason he needs to do it from the vWii menu. Only minor draw back to this, is that you'll either need to start a CFW...

    Hardware 2partitions on wiiu hdd??

Not sure if you're aware of this or not already, but I figured I'd post it anyway just to be sure. This method obviously isn't convenient as having a single HDD/SSD with multiple partitions (one for Wii U, another for the vWii) connected to your console, but if you're willing/able to attach a...

Homebrew Wii u boots right to HBL, cannot get back to menu

Since this seems like a decently urgent issue, I'll share my two cents, but please take everything I say with a grain of salt as I'm certainly no expert on the matter. As you said, your haxchi configuration file looks to have been changed somehow and from what I can tell this definitely makes...
