Yeah I forgot about it got back on my computer and saw the completed format dialog and figured I'd try it. NOW the amount of time I spent in the card really wasn't worth the expense of a new card. But I can still use it for now.
In case anyone else runs into this issue.
I formated the card exfat and fat32 with no luck. Tried to use windows disk repair with no luck. Finally did a fat32 format with quick format not checked and let it run took around 40hrs. Now I'm getting 47mb/s write 90mb/s read and it passed a...
I have a 400gb SanDisk sd card that passed h2testw when I bought it. After using gamecard installer to install a 14gb game with 16gb of free space the switch froze and would no long boot emunand.
The card used to write at speeds around 45mb/s now I'm lucky to get 1mb/s even after full format...
I had this problem with a game I recently bought from the eshop and dumped with nxdumptool.nro the problem i ran into was that i dumped the game with the option Remove Console Specific Data set to no . after using nxdumptool again on the game that needed to connect to the internet with Remove...
When I installed Sys-Bot I downloaded the sys botbase.zip and simply dropped the contents onto the root of my memory card. No renaming files or creating files needed this way.
I know that now maybe I wasnt clear in my post just above yours above but I was going to create a temparary emunand of my clean sysnand to and use nxdumptools to dump my games. I was just hoping there was going to be an easier way.
looks like my 2 options are using SwitchSDTools on the PC or put switch in airplane mode and create a emunand on a seperate sd card and boot that into cfw using nxdumptool. let me know if you know of a better option.
I will have to look again I didnt find a tool that would do what your saying on the PC
Edit: Also probably worth mentioning that the games and updates that I bought on my clean sysnand are installed to the sd card
Is there an app that lets you boot up emunand and create backups of my switch games and updates off of my sysnand? I have some games I bought off the eshop and I have not found a way that I can back them up to play on emunand without using cfw on my clean sysnand.
People will believe anything they read that's why we don't know if there is brick code and we don't know if or whats safe I am waiting for a scene release.
On a discord I cant name here I dont know what files are safe and not. I am waiting for a reputable source to confirm of good and bad hashes before I install anything. Honestly the whole thing could be made up but better safe than sorry
There are reports that there is a version floating around that works but will brick after the 27th lots of debate of the good and brick version since both play fine right now
First you want to make sure you have a good charge or battery could be bad too if left dead for to long. Try charging over night or longer. Another thing you could try is a hard reset by holding power button for at least 12 seconds to make sure you fully turn off the console before trying to...
.nro is a homebrew file extension simular to .exe for Windows nro files are not installed to the switch they are opened through the homebrew menu .nsp is another file extension used by the switch that is installable through homebrew application's such as tinfoil. I'm fairly certain all .nro...
if you want to send me your boot 0/1 file I can pull the specific console info off of it and inject it into my boot 0 file and that should get you going again. Just did some digging around and found out where the specific console stuff is located.
Let someone who knows for sure answer this to but it is my understanding that you can downgrade and that would downgrade your boot files allowing you to get the correct boot files
the switch has fuses that can be burned when you update officially. Each major firmware update burns another fuse and after a fuse is burned the console always checks to see how many fuses are burned during boot if you try to boot lower firmware and to many fuses are burned the console will not...
