I think if you connect your sd to the virtual machine it's may be work. And for dd it's just replace all the sd content with 0 (Total reset) the command is dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sdX you can find the "X" with gparted and after recreate the partition table (msdos/mbr) and the main partition it's...- wow0

You can save the non corrupted files and fully format (Not fast format) You can use dd on linux then recreate the partitions it's remove corruption for me (2 times on 2 sd) just after there are a bug with "Nintendo 3DS" folder you just need to copy and paste to the new folder- wow0
