Hacking UStealth - Wii U 'Format Disk' Nag workaround :)

Did anyone ever hear from the author of Wii Backup Manager? Has anyone gotten it to work with UStealth? Or maybe there is another similar program that works with hidden drives? It defeats the purpose of having a hidden drive if you have to unhide it every time you add or remove a game.

    Hacking Configurable USB Loader

@Etheboss thank you. I've deleted the entries for games that didn't work from the configuration file (they had CIOS 222 in the settings), and they have started working.

    Hacking Configurable USB Loader

@Etheboss I am using the same forwarder that pretty much everybody else is using (https://gbatemp.net/threads/official-cfg-loader-forwarder.275487/), so I don't see how that can be the problem. Also, I never configured anything per game when I used the same loader on Wii, so why should it be...

Hacking CFG Loader not loading games

I am using a vWii forwarder channel to launch CFG Loader and getting the following error when running many Wii games: I have d2x version 10 beta 53-alt installed.

    Hacking Configurable USB Loader

I am using the vWii forwarder channel to launch CFG Loader and getting the following error when running many Wii games: There are at least some games that do load fine, for example Animal Crossing: City Folk. I have d2x version 10 beta 53-alt installed.

    Hacking Nintendont

So if I launch it from a Nintendont wad, it will take me back to game selection after using the "power off" shortcut instead of the vWIi menu screen?

    Hacking Nintendont

I am not using a loader on the Wii U (I did use one on the Wii). I am launching Nintendont from the Homebrew Channel

    Hacking Nintendont

Not switch discs of the same game. Switch discs to play a new game. With CFG loader, you are taken back CFG loader when you exit a game instead of getting thrown out to Homebrew Channel. Finding Nintendont in the Homebrew Channel menu and launching it every time is a lot of extra steps.

    Hacking Nintendont

So there's no easier way to switch discs?

    Hacking Nintendont

After exiting a game, how do you go to the game selection screen instead of going back to the Homebrew Channel?

Hacking Upgraded system menu to 4.3, StartPatch hacks stopped working

Thank you, because that just about summarizes all your posts. You were wrong about almost everything from the beginning, and specifically you were wrong about the need to switch to Priiloader for the purposes of writing a couple of hacks in the NAND. You were wrong that if an SD card is not in...

Hacking Upgraded system menu to 4.3, StartPatch hacks stopped working

crwys No, you are probably kidding? You are giving the utmostly shittiest advice of downgrading to system menu 4.1, which is risky and completely unnecessary, since StartPatch was written for 4.3. The author of StartPatch has already explained to me via PM exactly what to do, i.e. which cIOS to...

Hacking Upgraded system menu to 4.3, StartPatch hacks stopped working

Tgames thanks! So I'll just install the previous cIOS in a different slot and run StartPatch from there. :) I just need to apply those hacks once and don't plan on touching my NAND again after that.

Hacking Upgraded system menu to 4.3, StartPatch hacks stopped working

JVC2: both you and crwys sabotaged the thread and now it's filled with your crap about Priiloader that other people will need to be patient enough to read before they can help.

Wow, how about you people just go the hell away? I have already asked for this thread to be moved to the Wii Hacking section. Why are you still commenting here?

Hacking Upgraded system menu to 4.3, StartPatch hacks stopped working

When something doesn't work, people troubleshoot it with the help of fellow users, which is the very purpose of this thread. Otherwise we would keep switching programs without ever trying to fix anything. You guys remind me of Apple evangelists who suggest switching to a Mac every time...

Hacking Upgraded system menu to 4.3, StartPatch hacks stopped working

I didn't ask if it was a good idea to use StartPatch or whether you liked it. I asked for help with a specific error message the app was giving me. If you are not a StartPatch user or have a problem with modifying your nand, then you don't need to comment and derail the thread. I've used...

Hacking Upgraded system menu to 4.3, StartPatch hacks stopped working

I'm pretty sure Priiloader relies on the hacks.ini file, which resides on the SD.
