if i get the CFW, i don't need to update my console? will i be able to download the Welcome Amiibo without updating my console? because i don't want to update my console to 11.3 or higher because i won't be able to use the Save Editor and homebrew anymore.- berryliz07

New items like the sanrio sets and RV villagers do not appear on the Save Editor. my console is at 9.8.0 and my cartridge is the normal one, not with the Welcome Amiibo update. do i need to update my console and get the Amiibo update? please help- berryliz07
