So have you removed the Windows10 version from the medicat_v19.10.stable.iso ? I used rufus to burn it to a USB flash drive and booted into it. I see a bunch of menus to other utils but no menu simply to boot into Medicat WinPE version.

I used Yumi to create the Medicat USB boot and after 2 hours on a i5 w 8GB RAM it completed. Booted it in System1 and saw the Medicat splash screen followed by the text menu offering disk utils etc. Selected the one for PartedMgaic which sent me to a boot: prompt. With Spinrite it locked up on...

The MD5 hash of the medicat.v18.10.stable.iso agree to your hash on Google Drive. Disabling antivirus during the Rufus run made no difference on System1. It boots to a text based menu in black and white with the Mini Windows10 or the 3 Rescue options i.e. Windows10/8/7 plus the Memory Test at...

Even if the computer(s) in question has no idea what UEFI is? Sytem 1 is an old Core2Duo system? System 2 a Core2DUO Q6600 also exhibited the same issue but the wired USB mouse would not work and I had to use the keyboard to quit the program. System 3 is an AMD x4 630 boots to the Windows10 logo...

Did you use the 16.2GB Medicat USB v 18.10 Stable version when you flashed it on to your USB stick? I have done that here and the USB stick has that menu. The menu is missing off the Mini since the Mini only contains the Win10

Downloaded the mini version via Megaupload. Checksums of the parts and the final ISO agree with the checksum file. Used Rufus to create flash drive. Booted a Core2Duo system to discover that the wireless mouse would not work. Attached wired USB mouse and booted up system again. No red led on...

Sorry I must be denser than a fence post Is a PortableApps since it is hung off PortableApps folder than I understand. I however can not see why you say the following 3 entries are also PortableApps: All of these 3 applications: hard Disk Sentinnel, XYPlorer and Macrorit Disk Scanner...

I try to use Easy2Boot to allow me to place several ISOs etc on a single USB flash drive. Easy2Boot has a util that allows one to create .IMGptn that allows one to boot the payload either under UEFI as well as under MBR. The website has several ISOs that have been tested including Medicat...

Using the USB based version 17.10.01 and in Windows10 Mini when I select shutdown nothing happens. The flyout red menu also stays in place. Noticed the same thing happening when I use the mini.windows17.10.01 iso from within Easy2Boot.

The DVD does not have Win10 PE available on it but rather contains utils that are stand alone bootable apps that are meant to run outside of Windows entirely. In order to use the Portable apps from the DVD version of Medicat one has to launch them from an existing working Windows machine. Just...

What is the advantage of using the DVD version over the Mini Windows version of Medicat? Is it that the DVD version strictly has apps that run outside of Windows entirely where as the Mini has Windows based apps along with Portable Apps? Trying to determine what apps are on which version to...
