Are you saying no FDS games are supported? That doesn't sound right if you have RetroArch installed... can you provide more details?

Completely remove the power. Plug in the system, do not power it on, immediately do a restore/uninstall and confirm that it returns to the original setting. I don't think the system can be recognized while it is displaying the C8 error code. Please report back and I will confirm the answer on...

Q: Help! I am getting a C8 error code? A: Occurs when trying to start or playing a game. Combined you have too many ROMs & save files in a single navigation folder. The recommendation is no more than 30 games per navigational folder. When you include the original 30 games as visible you can have...

Check the link in my signature. Should explain the error. Your flooding the memory, even though in your case your trying to launch a folder it is no different than launching a game as far as NESC is concerned.

Just learned the C4 was due to a bug with SNES9x2010 creating ridiculous 5MB save states! That is why the number wasn't consistent for everyone, it was based off the number of other games installed.

I'm fairly sure it has something to do with how the packets are being divided up before transfer. They are sent in folder order. I have seen C4, C8, missing images, and games and believe they are mostly related to this process.

Yeah, I think it has something to do with the transfer process and why we have to reset the system 20 times during the initial data load.

Oh that must have changed over the weekend. Sorry for the misinformation. auto I missed that he was asking about Hakchi and not Retroarch. What I was saying was regarding Retroarch (and apperantly was changed over the weekend anyway). Totally get the cores are seperate, didn't mean to imply...

Delete 1-2 save files for the system your playing, I guess Sega Genesis? Try to see if you can play/save games again at that point. I think there are some orphan files hanging around that eat up space that we still haven't perfected. For example, I know if you delete a ROM from the library...

You have too many games! The 300 MB estimate is just an estimate and it is based off the a clean image. Once you start to add battery backup, folder images, save states, etc. the number comes down. I ran into random problems when going much higher than 220mb. Basically while the system has...

People having issues where red light doesn't go out with v2.13... have you seen this? https://github.com/ClusterM/hakchi2/issues/165 Might have something to do with the artwork. auto User_mods and yes.

Did the graphic settings changed for GBA/SNES 2010 between the original release and the most current one? I reflash the system today and it looks to be running a little bettter, but definitely more pixels. I think I saw something about a "No Smooth" feature. Was this just for the N64 or for...

That folder was missing in the fresh copy I pulled today. You can still find them on the repository though.

It won't do it automatically for the NES games. You can manually put the ZIP file in the games folder and change the parameters to call it. However, until a modification is made it won't do it in the program itself.

What folder are you finding the pictures to be 211 MB? The program compresses the pictures when you add them, so I have a hard time thinking these would total to 211 MB.

No problem. Just to be clear, I haven't confirmed whether he tries to also zip them when sending across (meaning you wouldn't need to rebuild the library). But I seriously doubt he does as he definitely zips them when you add them to the library itself.

Illinois is working to ban toxic food additives that have been banned for decades in other countries; additives that can be replaced and all those countries still have Skittles and Mountain Dew. Title of the piece: GUBMINT WANTS TO TAKE AWAY YOUR CANDY

Gee, I wonder if the author is biased?
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Veho, Sounds and smells like bullshit. They don't give you cancer, and California should know that. I don't get why they stick labels that say "may or may not cause reproductive harm or cancer".
  • Veho @ Veho:
Arsenic doesn't give you cancer either.
