It was unclear to me which compression rate is supported. So the best way was to do it via hakchi2. Since I know that retroarch unpacks the game before starting we could try a higher compression rates to save more space.
1. Copy the games folder to games_copy
2. Delete all games from hakchi2
3. Readd all games to hakchi2 and close it
4. Open Powershell an delete all *.sfc or *.md and so on from games_copy:
example for SNES: del /games_copy/*/*.sfc
5. Copy all folders from games_copy to games (replace all)

I use the Wii classic controller with the extension cable without any lags. IMHO it is the best controller to play NES, SNES and N64 without switching controllers.

As far as I know we have still to deal with the 30-40 MB limit for folders. My experience was that subfolders don't count as a folder, so only the root folder of a tree counts. This means if you have one folder for SNES and subfolders you have to take care that SNES doesn't have more than this...
