The same thing happens when trying to play the game on an SNES Classic. It’s not the emulators fault per se, but it doesn’t happen with the actual cartridge in a real system. Most likely an anti-piracy measure.
In regards to bubble2k’s Picodrive and the Retroarch Libretro PicoDrive;
For anyone who has tried both versions, what are your experiences with each? Does anyone prefer one over the other? Any performance differences worth mentioning?

For some reason I just can't get this to work. I've got the bios files in SD:/3ds/picodrive_3ds/bios and and named correctly from the first post. But the emulator keeps saying "Hmmm. Unable to load rom".
Could it be the game I'm trying to play? It's Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (Sega CD...
I just updated to B9S 1.2 to 1.3, and updated Freeshop from 2.2.0 to 3.1.7.
It's simply crash after crash after crash. The older version worked perfectly fine. This one I can barely use for a minute or two before it crashes. I've attached a pic.
I'm playing Mortal Kombat and when I go to the options screen and then button configuration, the screen is cut off so I can't choose my control layout.
Is this a ROM issue or an emulator issue? Does anyone else have this problem with MK 1 as well?
I've tried to create an ISO out of the individual ISO and WAV files and then created a cue file, but it doesn't work in the emulator. It's just says "Hmmmmm...failed to load ROM".
At the moment, my only hope rests with the static sound bug being figured out (or unless I can get help from anyone...
There are multiple versions of the game available on that iso site. I have a semi-translated version that works like your does, but the translation isn't 100% and it doesn't have sound issues either. (I also have the same version that you do too, but I like to be able to read and hear and...
Hi Bubble2k16,
Here is the link for the video (please let me know if it doesn't work):

And to answer your questions:
1) Yes I am running v.91
2) It's a constant screeching noise that sounds like static.
3)...
I tried that and yeah it works. But I'm trying to play a 100% translated version from that iso site. It comes in .rar format and if I unpack it, TemperPCE does play it from the cue file but the sound is squealing very badly.
I'm not sure if its TemperPCE that is the issue or the files it's...
Can I put it in a different format where the cue file isn't needed? Rename it to .pce format?
Edit: Nope. .pce format doesn't work and crashes the emulator.
Edit 2: Emulator isn't loading the game from the cue file at all. I don't know what's wrong. All I wanted to do this evening was play...
Keep in mind that people who don't even have SigHax/B9S but only have A9LH got banned.
I think Nintendo is simply reacting to SigHax/B9S being released by issuing bans.
It's puzzles me that there are some users stating they they have unmodded systems who were also banned. Either they're lying...
I was thinking of the incoming new 2DSXL.
But I have to think, why ban us at all then if the 3DS is near the end of its lifecycle? Eventually when the 3DS is discontinued, they'd eventually shut down the online servers anyways. With this ban, it just affected us early.
This is my thinking as well. It seems too coincidental to me that SigHax/B9S is released, which is advertised as the ultimate hack that Nintendo cannot stop (apart from a hardware revision). And then the bans happened.
We REALLY pissed off Nintendo for them to do this.
It's not the movies or games downloads that I would worry about, like breaking into networks, downloading encrypted things, spying on network traffic. I have seen so many "Top Secret" seals on files when I was a kid
I was obsessed with finding UFOs, a surprising amount of US files where stashed on computers in other countries, China back in the early 90s omg sooo much
