    So what aspect ratio are people using for SNES games? If I don't use the custom option with "integer' on, I will get a weird shimmering effect in the background of some games. But that option makes the image look a little too small.

    Has anyone gotten Golden Axe 2 to work? Its the only arcade games out of the 30 or so I have that won't launch. I head others had the same issue many pages ago and was wondering if anyone got it to work.

    Couple questions: So if I have been using SNES2010 all along, do I need to remove it and add back a newer version of the snes2010 core when upgrading to 2.15, or will the one I have previously installed have the compressed save state fix? What size are the save states now?

    So with the latest release, I can only have one folder for SNES instead of 2 (i.e. A-L, M-Z) due to the lack of 30MB limit?

    Is it possible for there to be an updated release that fixes the snes9x2010 core bug? I vastly prefer it over the snes9x2005 core and its sfx issues. Is it still safe to use the snes9x2010 core as long as I keep my save states to a minimum?

    I'm using the parent mame rom (galaga.zip). Shouldn't that work with the mame2003 core?

    I can't get the Galaga mame rom to load. The fb alpha rom of Galaga works, but it is missing some sounds like the ship exploding. I was hoping to use the mame rom with the sound samples installed, yet it won't load. All my other fb alpha, cps2, and mame roms load just fine- just not this one...

    Anyone with any help with this? I read somewhere that older versions of mame required a sound pack to be installed for the missing sfx. So do I download the sound pack and paste it into the zip folder with the parent rom?

    So i have the parent Donkey Kong and Donkey Kong Jr roms downloaded but noted they are both missing some sound effects. Do I have to also download a child rom to get the missing sound effects?

    Sorry if this is a noob question, but how do I get retroarch to save my aspect ratio settings? I can get it to save my button mapping configurations, but when I change the aspect ratio, it usually reverts back when I close out of the game and go back in.

    Its sf2t.zip, not sf2tj.zip. I thought using the Japanese version would result in the boss' names being different than what I am used to. I just added the CE world contents and still not working. About to go out. Will try again later.
