Installed this again now on my workcomputer behind all sorts of firewalls and virusprotection... NO PROBLEMS WHAT SO EVER. :)
Now this time I din't have the original kernel so I got a message saying it wasn't recognized but I could still continue. Installing the driver was.. akward.. this time...
Everyone with issues should try REINSTALLING THE DRIVER. Only one person tried it (successfully) after I fixed my own flashing issues 4 or 5 pages ago..
To everyone that get the "Can't read the pipe" message... Reinstall the driver by starting the program without the NES Mini connected and push the "Upload selected games.." button and then clicking on install driver. Then connect your NES Mini start it in FEL mode and try to load games again.
You only need the USB cable to connect it to your computer.
You can add and remove the games you load to it. The original 30 can only be removed as a batch.. all or nothing. Download the program and give it a go. It's really self explanatory.
This worked nicely at first try.
Became a member to give you some feedback: Game names go nuts when trying to add Mega Man 1-6. MM4 and MM5 are shown as MEGA MAN without the number.
Also Nintendo has a TM trademark in "MEGA MANtm 2" so it will not be sorted properly.
I feel like school, back when I was actually in school, was more entertaining though, because of how much I get to interact with people, hang out with friends, and other stuff like that. All I get to talk to at work is my boring coworkers lol
