The 3ds should turn on normally with just the cable plugged. If you make the hardmod with an external connection (micro usb or other) and the 3ds turn on normally without your frankenSD I recommend you to recheck your frankenSD soldering.- Nabac

the first time i made the hardmod to my n3dsxl i got the same problem, but with anker ar200 reader. the problem was the cables where more tan 5 inch long... long story short... shorter the cables, more options to work :D:D Thanks for your help, the problem was the ribbon cable wasn't...- Nabac

the image I post before your post has all the dat lines at both sides of the n3dsxl and frankenSD :D thx, i'm at work now, so i will check that board (i didn't touch it with the hardmod) and the flex that connects both boards asap- Nabac

Hello, I perform the hardmod to a New 3ds XL, everything went perfect (Anker AR200 reader), now I have a9lh and luma installed, but for some reason all buttons and sliders are working except B button... do you know how can i fix this??
