    It will install the eShop version, so you will need to buy the sports anyway. You can already download it for free from the eShop if i recall correctly.

    I mean they edited one specific byte, and i don't know which one, but it seems like it differs from game to game. Maybe someone more skilled with their hex can help you?

    What do you mean? That's exactly what they did, they hex edited one byte from the .tik and it worked with the modded wup installer on the GDrive.

    They don't have a tool, it was done by hand, and it can't be automated since it isn't an exact process.

    As people already said, it wasn't made by a patcher, just a small hex edit that is pretty much specific for each game.

    Everyone though WUDs were useless and only caused bricks, so everyone just stopped dumping them because they were also hard to dump. Try reading the full tutorial on the "Speculation" thread. It's around page 55 if i remember correctly? That actually makes me WAY less nervous to try it.

    It's the first post on this thread. The ticket is exactly what's patched, if there's no ticket, there's no patch, therefore a brick happens when you try to install.
