figured it out... you have to set the file name and directory first and then you can read to it... sorry for my stupidity- baxterials

So ive installed my hardmod with a micro usb port like on infinitydream on a n3ds xl. the 3ds works perfectly and when i plug in the cable and the sd adaptor in i get the bootrom error but im not sure if its the right one: BOOTROM 8046 ERRCODE: 00F800EF F8F8FFFF FFFFFFFF 00000022 00000000 my...- baxterials

Or, I also heard that if you use flash memory, it can act as more "RAM" at least windows tell me when I stick a flash drive into it. -
