Homebrew Black Screen When Loading Project M .iso in Wiiflow and USB Loader GX

So recently, I've decided to fire up my old soft modded Wii, which hasn't been touched in about 6 months. I open USB Loader GX and try to open Brawl with Project M ocarina. Lo and behold, a black screen. I found out I didn't have d2x v53beta in slot 250 (this probably doesn't exist, I just put...

Hacking USB Loader GX (along with Wiiflow and CFG) don't load my games?

When it's almost done, it asks me which IOS do I want to check. Which one should I choose? You might be frustrated at my noobishness. Sorry for that. I'm not very good with consoles in general.

Hacking USB Loader GX (along with Wiiflow and CFG) don't load my games?

Hey. So about April last year, I softmodded my Wii. It had lots of problems, but I usually fix them. I haven't played Wii since November-ish, so I started up my Wii to find that USB Loader didn't show any of my games. It's fine, I select Wii Games, but it freezes. Just the normal GUI and a white...

Hacking USB Loader GX not recognizing SSBB?

USB Loader GX can see other games, just not SSBB. auto Update, I fixed my computer, and this is the file path. F:\wbfs\Super Smash Bros. Brawl [RSBE01] The game is .wbfs, but I had it as .iso before and it still didn't work. The name of the .wbfs is "Super Smash Bros. Brawl.wbfs" Update 2...

Hacking USB Loader GX not recognizing SSBB?

Weird. Can anyone try to convert from WBFS to NTFS? Though you won't be able to convert back without erasing the content. One thing that may help, the hard drive is 1 TB, and is split into 2 partitions. One for Wii and one for regular stuff. (Computer is running out of space). Right now, I...

Hacking USB Loader GX not recognizing SSBB?

Hi, What I was saying is that Wii Flow didnt recognize NTFS, but USB Loader GX did. It is just that ssbb wasn't there in the list of games. Thank you for responding, and I will let you know about the file path to the game. P.S: Quote from CNET. "you can switch to NTFS without reformatting your...

Hacking USB Loader GX not recognizing SSBB?

In April, I started getting into homebrew. By May, I had successfully gotten all the games that I own onto the Loader. The only reason I did this was that my Wii Disk Runner-thingy had stopped working. This meant that I had to get the games that I had from online. Everything was smooth, when I...

@SylverReZ, atleast wiimmfii went fine although people only use it for Mario kart Wii
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
At least if they ban you for cheating, get another Wii. They're cheap as chips.

Remember when RiiShop was a thing?
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
    not really
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
It got shutdown because somebody "accidentally" leaked the database for the amount of people using the beta.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
RiiShop is the laziest way of downloading Wii games. Did somebody not think of this through?
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
although i ended up accidentally changing my nand with no way of going back bc i didn't know you needed a gamecube controller to restore it (i have a wii minus/1.1, which doesn't have gamecube controller support)
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@BakerMan, I think you're talking about the recovery mode that the SaveMii used, and also was to restore softbricked systems.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
If your NAND was hardbricked, then just buy another Wii. Or go with the dirty NAND flasher method.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
and if i find the sd card i have my NAND backed up on, i can not only restore the NAND if i solder the right part in, but i can also put my NAND on dolphin, then i can play dolphin online, like PMEX Remix or MKWii Riibalanced
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    Brb
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@BakerMan, Oh yeah, that was a thing too. Dolphin does support Wiimmfi.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
yeah you just need to put your NAND backup with wiimmfi on it
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
ngl i feel like if a bunch of my friends have wiis and know how to get wiimmfi and back up their NAND, then we could do a PMEX Remix tournament
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
maybe even add UMVC3/DBFZ and make it a biathlon/triathlon
