    PLOT TWIST: i made it work by installing Retropie on L4T ubuntu. Yes, not even next to ideal but it runs much better than Android with PSP. I'm tweaking some details though but i think this somehow opens a path to make this work under HOS.

    I made it launch natively on l4t ubuntu switch using Raspberry Pi RetroPie version and cross compiling some armhf x aarch64 libraries, it launches fine but crashes after press start screen. Looks like this is the end of the line now.

    Just looked a bit further into this and tried to compile bennugd on my l4t ubuntu switch. Bennugd is 32 bit only and Switch arch is 64 bit, i managed to compile it successfully but couldn't get it to run (because of different arch)

    sorry but i don't use Android, the Windows/Linux build has a folder called mod and a system.txt file inside, that's the file you want to change

    Just tried this on Ubuntu L4T on my Switch, unfortunately doesn't work. Switch has a Different Arq. I guess the best the way to do this is to port BennuGD engine to switch. Someone started this long ago but the project is dead i guess.

    Actually this one from Eevee was the first i tried. I Guess i'll reinstall the game and try again to see if it works. Edit: NVM, it's working now, probably something on my side that i somehow fixed, nothing wrong with both save files.

    why you need to update? AFAIC you can play and run pretty much anything without having to update. There's just no reason to update right now.
