ROM Hack [WIP] The Fourth Dimension: A Super Mario 3D land level editor

Not sure if the kcl and pa get created, it takes so long, but I'll try and update you later. I'm using the newest version of your software, 0.7. I'm using sketch up like in that tutorial. edit I've been running it in the background for like 2 hours now and this is the progress it made.

ROM Hack [WIP] The Fourth Dimension: A Super Mario 3D land level editor

They are in the same folder. I tried some things but nothing really changed, I'm guessing I forgot some step. Is there a good written tutorial you recommend? I find it hard to follow video tutorials.

ROM Hack [WIP] The Fourth Dimension: A Super Mario 3D land level editor

Odd, when I drag over the .obj it goes straight to "Creating KCL..." without me being able to type anything. Also not sure what you mean with collision codes, what am I missing here?

ROM Hack [WIP] The Fourth Dimension: A Super Mario 3D land level editor

I have a question regarding the conversion of a model into a collision file: How long does the convertion-process usually take? Seems like it takes a long time.

The progress on this is pretty impressive, trying to import some models tomorrow. Will post progress if it works. Really impressed by Skelux' work too, that model is stunning. Loving the background.

ROM Hack Official Mario Kart 7 - Custom Track Grand Prix 7 (CTGP-7)

Interesting to see that this project is still going, I made the CTGP-7 logo ages ago and kinda stopped following this. Good to know it's alive! Great work (from what I've seen).

Hacking Sm4shExplorer (Wii U only for now)

That's what happened for me too, but the thing is: The songs that don't play at all aren't supposed to be on that stage. For me, Fourside doesn't play, and it's listed on Battlefield (even though it should be on Onett). A good way to check if songs are in the wrong location: Turn up the...

Hacking Sm4shExplorer (Wii U only for now)

I tried getting the song "Fourside" from Smash Melee onto Onett, but now it's on Battlefield instead for some reason. EDIT It's in the Menu selection too, aaaaa

Hacking Sm4shExplorer (Wii U only for now)

So for some reason, Fourside (which was supposed to go to Onett) landed on Battlefield, alongside other songs. And the software says it should be on Onett. Confused.

@Xdqwerty, Don't use games that have Easy Anti-Cheat as its been exploited many times.

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol
