Hacking BotW Item Names for PandaOnSmack's Trainer

I got this tip down below from a different thread. Using their tcpgecko.elf file fixed the trainer and it now works perfectly. Maybe that'll help for you too.

I'll get the dump uploaded asap, thanks! You're my hero right now! That version of the tcpgecko.elf actually works flawlessly with the trainer!

Heh, good luck getting them to work then. Let me know if you can get the ones to work that failed for me. WOuld be interesting to know if those just generally don't work or just for me.

I'm using the 1.3.1 codes from @skoolzout1 's signature. Did a full memory dump earlier and I'm pretty sure the health address is 437CB310 as it did just what was described in their post a few pages back. Edit: Just tested, Infinite Horse Whips also does not work.

I've been having the same problem. Console crashes as soon as I hit connect in the trainer on both 5.5.1 and 5.5.2. Tried different gecko versions, different trainer versions and they all crash on connect.

Most of the BotW codes work just fine for me on 5.5.2. However I couldn't get the following ones to work at all: Inf. Rupees/Mon Inf. Arrows Inf. Amiibo uses Everything else seems to be working just fine. Any ideas on how to fix those few? Game is version 1.3.1 DLC 2.0 NTSC

I noticed that too. The entire memory range where rupees used to be is just empty now.

Has anyone found new codes for Hyrule Warriors 1.9 update (PAL/Disc)?

So currently my JGecko's "Send Codes" button is greyed out, even though it's connected and I have codes selected in the list. Is this intentional (i.e. things are being updated and not working at the moment) or am I doing something wrong here?

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
