    Homebrew Sonic 1/2 2013 3DS?

It's very possible - in fact, it's already sitting there. Rubberduckycooly ported RSDKv3 and v4 to SDL 1.2 already, specifically mentioning Dreamcast, Wii and 3DS as targets. With that said, the 3D Classics versions are very solid, so yes, it's probably a hard sell to port them. But if we could...

Homebrew Is Doom 64 for 3DS possible?

My hope was that we would get a better Doom source port that wasn't based on PrBoom. Doom64EX is an entirely unique source port specifially to run Doom 64, which would evolve into Kaiser's Kex Engine upon which the official Doom 64 re-release is made from. This ImDoom 64 is evidently just...

Gaming Mario 64 DS looks awful on a 3DS XL

DS games in general don't usually hold up graphically. You're talking worse texture size, render size, lots of jaggies, most DS games will generally look pretty poor, regardless of DS vs 3DS XL. However, I lend that to just be a style of DS games in general. Try going back to the two Zelda games...

Homebrew Emulator input lag on the 3ds - surprising results

Great post, I like the comparisons, but there's a few hurdles in general with the whole argument of input lag, specifically in... the value. Bubble2k16's emulators have the best UI for navigating ROMs hands down. Some may argue that Retroarch is just as good, but with the amount of fiddling...

    Homebrew Super Mario 64 Port

Well, DirectX 9 would ensure it works from 2000 up to 10 without much of a hitch, but if you want it to run on 9x/ME, you'd be wanting something more along the lines of DirectX 5/6. I'm sure it's possible with MS-DOS, but let's be real, no one really wants to do C:\mario.exe_ But it would be a...

What did you Accomplish in Gaming Today?

I learned for the first time in 20 years that Whomps dispense coins if you jump on them in Super Mario 64. For me anyway, that was revelatory.

    Homebrew Super Mario 64 Port

Fantastic work on this, Gericom. 800px + 64DS Mario looks crisp, game runs beautifully on N3DSXL, I may restart SM64 all over again on this. Just out of curiosity, what are the upper and lower limits of hardware use based on the version? We're probably a long way from seeing any form of...

Homebrew Spotify 3DS App - Where can I start?

If any efforts have been made on this, I could make a suggestion to look at the open-source Librespot project and the Sailfish app that resulted from it, Hutspot. Librespot is a client library to turn a device into a Connect device based on the near-defunct API from Spotify. Hutspot was a...

    Homebrew [Release] Quake III (ioQuake3DS)

This is a fantastic port to the system, copying some FPS guides from the good old days I was able to get even better FPS for my system, thanks much, MasterFeizz. I do have a problem though, the keyboard does not shift. I've noticed this before in ctrQuake as well, but trying to do an underscore...

Homebrew Can you force old 3DS to play new 3DS games? (Minecraft)

Memory is the key thing. Minecraft _can_ run at the clock speed of the o3DS on a N3DS (it will be terribly slow), but it's still using 4 cores instead of 2, and it is still using the full RAM of the N3DS. There is no way around this.

    Homebrew [Release] ScummVM 3DS

So just to ask, are there specific settings to make Neverhood run, or is it just a case of a forwarder CIA? I can't run the 3dsx file because I'm working with the Rosalina and Luma stuff on 11.10. Sent from my H3123 using Tapatalk
