    Yes, but wouldn't that add a risk where someone else might insert a normal micro usb cable into it? Or would it be hazzardless if you don't use micro usb pin 1 on the breadboard? (the 5v vcc pin). If you're creative you might be able to double it as a micro usb charging port :lol:

    You could try and modify your setup so your connector is keyed. For example, add a fifth dummy pin on the bottom of the connector and in your 3ds so you can't insert the connector upside down. I do like your setup by the way :)
