I had rxTools redo the initial data install by deleting the contents of the data directory :( Out of curiosity, how would I even patch one or the other?- zomgasia

I was under the impression that replacing 0004013800000102.elf in /rxTools/sys/patches/ would be all the patching that was required. Can you please point me to some instructions on patching both emunand and sysnand? Sorry, I'm brand-new to 3ds hacking :\- zomgasia

I have a 2ds with the rxTools nightly build installed (per the instructions here: https://gbatemp.net/threads/tutorial-installing-rxtools-custom-firmware-3ds-and-2ds.390867/). I've replaced 0004013800000102.elf in /rxTools/sys/patches/, and deleted the contents of the /rxTools/sys/data/...- zomgasia

Or, I also heard that if you use flash memory, it can act as more "RAM" at least windows tell me when I stick a flash drive into it. -
