Hi,
Thanks to this guide, I have installed cfw easily on my o3ds xl.
I have a question.
I have a 3ds on fw 1.0 ( yes, it is unused), correct me if I'm wrong, I need to update it to higher version to prepare it for CFW?
I want to update it to 9.2 ( for menuhax coldboot). Do you have a guide...
I had the same experience, what I did was I assume that rxtools was installed and proceeded installing Devmenu and formatting of Emunand. After formatting and restoring the backup of my sdcard, I booted rxtools and voila, I'm on CFW
i would like to reconfirm, again, sorry for asking again.
I have a Old 3ds xl on sysnand fw 7 and emunand 10.3.I access emunand via profile exploit. It is safe to update to 10.5?
Just reconfirming. ;)

Thank you so much for your reply. I'm going to update my emunand to 10.5.
How about my other question ?
I was able to follow your instructions all they way to unlinking nands. BTW, i'm on 9.2 N3DS. I access rxtools by HBL , when I tried to update emunand to 10.4, unit reboots to...
One more thing, I have a O3ds xl on rxtools emunand 10.3 . I''m quite hesitant to update emunand to 10.4 / 10.5 . i access rxtools via profile exploit. Is it safe to update?
No, my sysnand is still on 9.2 . What I updated was the emunand to 10.4. When it rebooted to sysnand, i tried to access HBl then rxtools, it hangs there, black screen.
Hi,
I was able to follow your instructions all they way to unlinking nands. BTW, i'm on 9.2 N3DS. I access rxtools by HBL , when I tried to update emunand to 10.4, unit reboots to sysnand and I can no longer access rxtools on HBL. I also triend accessing thru browser but still no avail.
@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol
