I wouldn't risk it, I myself gave up after soft bricking a fresh out of the box EU N3DS XL twice, it always freezes shortly after sysupdater is launched, the two times I actually managed to start the downgrade process are both when it got bricked due to freezes during the process, among...- Chewiesaurus

I was on my last attempt before giving up entirely on this thing and it finally went through, installed about 6 CIAs and...soft bricked. Managed to get it up and running again, hopefully I manage to downgrade it.- Chewiesaurus
