Hacking Sigpatches for Atmosphere (Hekate, fss0, fusee & package3)

I just noticed that one minute after making that post, @impeeza updated the first line of the OP with this: SMH... @impeeza I realize you are proud of SYS-Patch. I also understand SYS-Patch is better! But there is a right way and a wrong way to go about things as well as a right way and a...

Hacking Sigpatches for Atmosphere (Hekate, fss0, fusee & package3)

Well, this is the important one: I believe many of us underestimate the number of users that literally just do that. We see a handful of noobs wanting to do a new mod the old way, because they post and whine, and we forget about the users that just want to update an old mod whenever a new...

Hacking Sigpatches for Atmosphere (Hekate, fss0, fusee & package3)

I understand that you would prefer that people use SYS-Patch. That has been covered... extensively. But there is no reason to not let someone else provide legacy support for sigpatches? So would you mind handing the editing of the OP over to someone else as it was handed over to you by...

Hacking Sigpatches for Atmosphere (Hekate, fss0, fusee & package3)

Hey, I might not have the full answer, but before someone jumps in with "just use Sys-Patch!!" I wanted to post. I know that many users would appreciate it if sigpatches continue to be linked for legacy reasons. I personally use them for something that Sys-Patch would not necessarily be ideal...

Homebrew [Release] 3DSBank - "Nintendo 3DS" folder selector

Am I correct in that if you accidentally hit Power or Home while an existing folder is highlighted, it deletes/overwrites it? If so, is there a way to lock the current folders so you don't accidentally attempt to make a new one while an existing folder is highlighted instead of an empty spot?

Thank you impeeza for providing legacy support for sigpatches as well.

    GBARunner3?

Has this project had no activity for 5 months, or am I just missing where it has been branched off to or something? https://github.com/Gericom/GBARunner3/actions

Hacking Sigpatches for Atmosphere (Hekate, fss0, fusee & package3)

That linked file works fine. Posts can be edited long after the date you are talking about. Instead of looking at that date at the top left of the post, look for the date at the bottom right of the post after "Last edited by".

Hacking Sigpatches for Atmosphere (Hekate, fss0, fusee & package3)

    Update the first line of the OP from 20.1.5 / v1.9.1 to 20.2.0 / v1.9.2 ?

Hacking Sigpatches for Atmosphere (Hekate, fss0, fusee & package3)

Hacking Sigpatches for Atmosphere (Hekate, fss0, fusee & package3)

The first line of the OP should say FW 20.1.0 not FW 21.0.0 ?

Is there a site that keeps an updated list of what the most current update is for each Switch game? Both forms!

Ok awesome, that site keeps a good list of the client side version number, and the Tinfoil link keeps a good list of the internal version number (still assuming I'm correct that dividing by 65536 always works, otherwise 16BitWonder + Google). And luckily they both show the date of each update...

Is there a site that keeps an updated list of what the most current update is for each Switch game? Both forms!

Is there a site that keeps an updated list of what the most current update is for each Switch game that includes both the client side version number and its correlating internal version number of the update. For instance: Super Mario Odyssey is currently at (1.3.0) [v262144] Super Smash Bros...

Any ideas on this glitch with 32kb Gameboy games on a cheap handheld?

I made a simple .ips patch to make it easier to change that value (which makes the 32kb Gameboy games actually work on this handheld). I used it to patch the rest of them and they all work fine now.

Any ideas on this glitch with 32kb Gameboy games on a cheap handheld?

Thank you so much hippy dave. You are awesome. I changed 0147 (Cartridge Type) from 00 (ROM only) to 01 (MBC1) and that did it. I tested on a few of the 40 or so 32kb US Gameboy games and they all went from not working to working on this handheld.

Any ideas on this glitch with 32kb Gameboy games on a cheap handheld?

I am looking into cheap handhelds that have a micro sd slot. I am testing one that you can find on Amazon by searching CredevZone x350. As far as I know, no one updates firmware for this one. It plays Gameboy decently but there is a pretty significant problem: It refuses to open the 32kb...

Hardware New 3DS XL Screens only display recovery mode

smallmedicap reporting in This DID fix mine as well. Thanks gisel213 (and TurdPooCharger). I'm also adding that this: Did NOT work for me, but that is to be expected. That's because some people, like Benimaru, might just have a dirty/bad connection, which unplugging it and plugging it back...

Hacking How to get CIA seeds and DLC?

Okay, I tested this again and it works fine. I was misremembering one part though. I used Hourglass9, not Decrypt 9 to redump the game to cia. To test this I found a random game that needs seed imported. (Justice Chronicles. When I install it, it just hangs on Nintendo 3DS screen.) So...

Hacking How to get CIA seeds and DLC?

I may be talking about something different here but on the few games I have had that needed seeds (which means the game only boots to Nintendo3DS screen and stops there, which means I have to go to FBI and import seed for that specific game)... I install the game. Go to FBI and import seed for...
