Homebrew [Discontinued] TWLoader - CTR-mode NDS app

So I've installed the loader as instructed and when I boot up the game (I've tried two, Professor Layton and the Curious Village and Mega Man ZX) it just gets stuck on a white screen after the Health and Safety message. I'm on an O3DS with A9LH and Luma3DS on 11.3. Here are my settings in...

Homebrew Retroarch Emulation Thread (Nightly Builds Included)

Figured it out! Thank you @Muxi for helping me with that. You install the emulator cias you want, put the icons for those cias in a folder somewhere on the 3ds home screen, and then install the retroarch_3ds.cia! Then, you boot up retroarch_3ds.cia and you can easily switch between cores without...

Homebrew Retroarch Emulation Thread (Nightly Builds Included)

Is there no way to just have some sort of all-in-one launcher cia? Or do I have to install the cias individually and run them only like that.

Homebrew Retroarch Emulation Thread (Nightly Builds Included)

So, I downloaded the .cia version and installed the retroarch_3ds.cia from the cias folder in the .zip, but when I boot it up, I just get a black screen for about a minute and then I'm returned to the home menu of my 3DS. What am I doing wrong? I wasn't sure where to put the folder called...

Ah! okay. Seems I missed that step :P I reinjected FBI and got that installed. All done! Now I've done that, can I just put .cias on my sd card and install them with FBI?

Homebrew [Release] FBI - Open source CIA installer

Is there a way for me to get FBI its own icon on the home menu, instead of it occupying my H&S app? I've just finished following 3ds.guide

@SylverReZ, I dislike the kind of drm where you have to play single player games online all the time bc of some verification bs

@Xdqwerty, Don't use games that have Easy Anti-Cheat as its been exploited many times.

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol
