Hacking Wii U Hacking & Homebrew Discussion

Does someone know how it could be possible to write into this area: virtual 0c000000 - 10000000 physical 8c000000 - 90000000 flags 0x2ff09400 without changing the 0xA0000000 mapping? I already tried playing with the flags but it always crashes the game either on start...

I tried that and for me the kern_write() simply crashed. But now that I think about it, the reason for that could also be that I didn't patched the syscall tables for the games. But it could also fail because of this:

Hacking Wii U Hacking & Homebrew Discussion

In the program i'm currently writing i need to patch some code which seems to be on physical memory location 0x8ee3ac88. But it seems the remapping of the kernel exploit doesn't go that far. Has someone an idea how i could patch the location without actually changing the whole mapping? I want to...

Does someone know if the patch functions of loadiine and cafiine (MAKE_MAGIC in fs.c and all that stuff) can be used to patch arbitrary RPL functions? I don't really know a lot about PPC ASM and I just wanted to reuse those. So I just tried to patch some functions of the AOC library and replaced...

Hacking [OLD] Loadiine backup loader for WiiU 5.3.2 ONLY (NO 5.4 NO 5.5!)

I had the same error message with Mario Kart 8 and Mario Maker when i used the already compiled version that was posted by dimok. But when I used his code from github the error was gone. So maybe dimok already fixed it?

I wouldn't make the folder of the content files too long, otherwise you could run into problems when a game has many sub-folders and long paths. FAT32 (and also the FSOpenDir function of the WiiU) only accept paths up to a certain length. So if a game has a lot of folders it could be possible...

Hacking "Official" WiiU Loadiine Compatibility list thread

This error only appears if you don't have the right folders in your _SAV folder. The game can't access the save folder and because of this it displays this error. Please read the manual again carefully.

Hacking "Official" WiiU Loadiine Compatibility list thread

Pikmin 3 US works with the NUS update v96. It even has the right localisation (german in my case). But from what i observed Uwizard isn't able to extract the whole game from the wud i used. Uwizard only extracted 2.7 GB of files while the whole game should be about 4GB. Some other games that...

Hacking loadiine - the first backup loader for WiiU

Just use UWizard. Insert the update title ID in the NUS downloader tab and check the encryption checkbox. Then you should get a folder with the decrypted update.

Homebrew Official WUP Installer - Title installer + Firmware spoofing [3.x - 5.4.0]

I don't really get why he is so mad just because this few lines of asm code got leaked. All the functions called in it where documented by crediar and nährwert on wiiubrew: http://wiiubrew.org/wiki//dev/mcp http://wiiubrew.org/w/index.php?title=/dev/mcp&curid=542&action=history And they were...

And with the ticket you can probably also reinstall bought games after they have been deleted from your console (or maybe even after a system format, system transfer).

Hacking Wii U Hacking & Homebrew Discussion

Does someone know if there is an application which runs on the PowerPC and has direct access to the system NAND of the WiiU? It would be nice to be able to dump the tickets of the console when the installer of crediar comes out . I quickly tried to see which files the settings menu...
