I had this problem too. I had never actually played ironfall, so there was no save game. Created a save, re-ran ironhax, and everything worked.! Old 9.9 XL if that matters... Good luck edit: ok, missed the post where you said it did not work. Hope you get this working!- frylock

Sorry if this is a repost. If you are getting the error screen while trying to run ironhax installer, launch Ironfall and start a save file. Then close out and try ironhax installer again, making sure to select the save slot you just made. This solved the problem for me.- frylock
