    Did not know that.. In essence one could save ALOT of money going down that route instead of re-purchasing the games in NTSC format... Is there any benefit in using a component-to-HDMI convertor? My TV has component input but would a convertor upscale the image better?

    Phew! I was worried cause I bought a brand new PAL Wii with GC compatibility. Great to know the NTSC games won't be gimped. Now just have to sort out the softmod. This hard drive alternative sounds interesting though. Just an external hard drive?

    The NTSC games ran at full screen(no PAL borders)? I have a very recent Sony Bravia.. Hopefully the upscaler is good :D
