    You could try going into the menuhax settings and setting up the default image. It makes it look a hell of a lot more clean in my opinion.

    You are correct that you will only be able to access in emuNAND. But yeah, it doesn't really matter. You wont really be using sysNAND anymore. Do exactly as the guide says and you'll be good =D Don't copy what you have, copy from the files provided in the thread.

    @TheToaster So I was just tearing down a friends 2DS and was following the guide here. Looks like the 2DS guide needs some work because the soldering pads are on the other side of the board so the whole thing actually needs to be removed in order to get at them to solder the wires on.

    I've used this guide to get 3 O3DS XL's up and running now and it has been a huge help. Wanted to say thanks for that. I also wanted to ask if I'm trying to set up a 2DS if I can just follow the same steps for the O3DS and have that work. I tried doing some searching but the site doesn't let...

    Those look like an even better option for sure. I wish I would have had these when I modded mine. Much better size, and I knew he had been putting them in those corner holes but I couldn't figure out how anything would possibly fit. Good to know, thanks.

    I cut the internal wires pretty short myself as well, but they still had to be moved to get the case back together. I think a thinner gauge would work better for this issue. I'd love to see how you got the connector to fit. Mine was mounted right above(in terms of the board, not vertically above...

    I do not. I would suggest sending a message to @hundshamer and seeing if there is anything he can do with it. Although with the lifted pad there probably isn't much to be done.

    If you pull one of the solder pads completely off? There have been posts here with possible other locations for the pin outs. The pad I pulled was CMD and in my research I hadn't found anything that I for sure thought was worth trying. There is a resistor under the cart slot that has a possible...

    I was able to complete the hard mod on my system, but I need muck up my wife's. I had to order a second ds for her so that I can swap the board into her AC:NL edition case and I will mod that one. Although it's on 6.# so I'm tempted to not try the hard mod on the new one. We'll see.
