If you've bricked your game go to the LeafTools thread (there's a link in the OP) and find the part in the main post that says "IF YOU RUIN YOUR TOWN OR BRICK YOUR CARTRIDGE" and follow the instructions. That ought to do the trick.- jumpman

I had considered that but even when I change something minor that doesn't interact with any of my buildings I still get a bricked save. :/ I may just have to forget about it and keep restarting till I get a map that I like. Thanks for the help :)- jumpman

Ship to ship communication software for the Navy although without access to the encrypting chips it was mostly useless
