Thanks logg, I know how to modify the TX power. What I don't know is what adapters support it. The RTL based ones (I.e all the ones on the spill pass hardware page) don't - the driver doesn't support it, one can execute the needed command line, iwconfig even reports the change, but it doesn't...- scyto

Working great, was a breeze to setup. Are there any known wireless usb dongles that support adjustable txpower? The RTL ones don't seem to. I want to reduce the wifi power to make the ATT hotspot area as small as possible.- scyto
