Right, ok. So I guess what you're doing is the safest, play CIAs offline and only use private headers online. I don't know if Nintendo can tell which game a header belongs to, but just in case I think I'll rip a few ROMs from a friend.
Figured as much, but thanks for confirming!
I haven't gotten banned and have yet to even go online with any .3dz roms, I'm keeping a close eye on this thread just so I know what things to be cautious of. So pretty much it's confirmed that public headers = ban? I've heard that there are risks...
Hello,
I haven't used Gateway for any online stuff, but lately I've been reading about people getting banned for using online play via ROMs on various flashcarts. I've lurked gbatemp for years, but I decided to create an account just to ask this:
I've skimmed through this thread, and from what...
although i ended up accidentally changing my nand with no way of going back bc i didn't know you needed a gamecube controller to restore it (i have a wii minus/1.1, which doesn't have gamecube controller support)
and if i find the sd card i have my NAND backed up on, i can not only restore the NAND if i solder the right part in, but i can also put my NAND on dolphin, then i can play dolphin online, like PMEX Remix or MKWii Riibalanced
