Homebrew CitrAGB - 3DS GBA Emulator (WIP)

I only use .3dsx binaries, as I have a n3ds on 9.9. It most certainly does work with .3dsx, I wouldn't have said it worked if it didn't :)

Homebrew CitrAGB - 3DS GBA Emulator (WIP)

This is nothing new, gameyob does stuff with the c-stick/zl/zr too, as does 3dscraft or whatever it's called.

Homebrew 2 kinds o' FreeHax released.

Only works via tubehax. Ironhax and ninjhax still blackscreen when you go into sleep mode.

Homebrew New to 3DS hacking - Why do we have to (literally) pay for Homebrew?

Citra's been able to run homebrew since before it was able to run any commercial games.

    Homebrew Ninjahax vs 2

They don't function, because the exploits they used were patched.

Make sure you're using this build, and that you have this on the root of your sd card. You'll also need a gba bios, but it shouldn't crash without it - it should just tell you.

Dang nice work man, Minish Cap seems to be running like a charm with very little visual distortion.

Homebrew Is Possible To Make Playstation 1 Emulator On 3DS?

Apologies, slipped my mind that the GB/GBC were basically glorified calculators.

Homebrew Is Possible To Make Playstation 1 Emulator On 3DS?

Yes, but the Dreamcast had a MIPS-based CPU. If you were to classify CPUs based entirely on whether or not they're RISC, the Gameboy Advance and DS (and 3DS) lines fall under that.

Homebrew blargSnes -- SNES emulator for the 3DS (WIP)

My bad, I was under the impression it was 64bit from some cursory reading I was doing. Still, I'm sure it being MIPS-based at all makes it a bit easier on it.

Homebrew blargSnes -- SNES emulator for the 3DS (WIP)

N64 emulation is a lot better than it would be on the 3ds because it has a MIPS-based 64-bit processor. Even then, it doesn't work very well - like another person said, only SM64 runs playably.

Ninjhax is supported all the way back to 4.0 though, so I don't see much of a point in having a 9.2 emunand when you can just use it on sysnand.

Hacking Highest emunand version you can use without owning a Gateway?

Shit, just being able to use 9.4 (& eshop) AND have ninjhax is the bee's knees for me.

Hacking Highest emunand version you can use without owning a Gateway?

Yeah you can just reflash the sysnand. I mean, I'd definitely try to avoid doing it, because it is dangerous if you run out of charge or cosmic rays cause your SD card to disconnect, but you can do it. eshop balance is stored on your eshop account, which is tied to something-or-other on your...

Hacking Highest emunand version you can use without owning a Gateway?

I don't know if you can inject into the MT card emunand, I've had no success, but as long as you keep a backup of your NAND.BIN and don't format your sysnand until you've got emunand set up, it should retain all your games and stuff. I could write a guide, I guess, but it was pretty much what...

Hacking Highest emunand version you can use without owning a Gateway?

Yep, downgrade to 4.2 using Gateway 3.0.1 and grab a DS-mode cart that works on 4.2 and stick the MT installer on it, and set up emunand using that. Then you can update emunand from the settings menu (while inside emunand, of course) to 9.4, in order to play games that need higher versions...

This makes me rather moist. Keep up the excellent work, looking forward to not lugging my DSLite or SP around :)

Homebrew Control Wii U through homebrew?

Gamepad doesn't use Bluetooth to communicate with the WiiU. It uses a direct wifi connection between the WiiU and itself.

Homebrew blargSnes -- SNES emulator for the 3DS (WIP)

<layman speculation> It might be updating other sprites a frame after the camera moves, instead of during the same frame. And I think pokemon gen 1 had the same issue, but not gen 2. </layman speculation>
