Looks like VT03 Jungletac games in general seem to working alright. I just tested Push the Ball.nes, and while it's not perfect speed (at least not on some hardware), it still performs pretty well (check screenshot). I may need to get the AI to optimize it for original hardware.

More updates to PocketVT have been done (thanks Opus 5!). Now also works with Star Ally (though slightly slower than normal because the GBA hardware can't normally support the speed at which it runs), and Time Pilot. The multicart menu is now also functional.

you can upload some files to it on claude.ai -- like NESdev XML's. i did the grind work of having it convert an official VT03 (and VT02) datasheet pdf to .md obviously paid accounts will get you more usage time. im on the Pro tier of claude and gemini. but again, I use Claude for programming...

Sorry for the delay, everyone! I've been working on getting AI to help reverse-engineer the VT03 hardware to make a spinoff of PocketNES titled PocketVT. Currently only Lonely Island (depicted) is confirmed to work. Repo here: https://github.com/GamingFanboy365/pocketvt I may have to make a...

Yeah, AI is scary in ways but I can't complain about it ending the era where you used to be at the mercy of someone else if you wanted to get things done.

@VmprHntrD : i used the web interfaces for claude.ai and aistudio.google.com. it asked me which mappers to add, so it generated those. i brought up issues to it if something wasn't working properly, so aimed to fix it. sometimes it's stuck in a loop, and from now on i'm going to try and rely on...

Okay so I decided to add to the reame.md to make the attribution more robust since i absolutely don't want to take credit or clout for adding mappers. what'd have been dishonest if i were to say it's my own work, but at least here, people know that I used AI to help, and this is my first time...

i forked the github repo. It was mostly just on the mapper files, which needed to then be added to cart.s.

Thanks to AI like Gemini and Claude Opus, a person like me who doesn't know anything about coding can add more mappers to PocketNES. Take a look: https://github.com/GamingFanboy365/pocketnes Edit: now also working on a spinoff titled PocketVT, for VT03 emulation mainly...
